The Opportunity
We are working with a leading national law firm seeking a talented Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join their Sydney office. This is a growth role within one of the firm’s largest and most respected practice groups. You’ll work alongside senior litigators on a wide range of commercial disputes, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in significant matters that often span jurisdictions.
Key Areas of Work
You will work across a diverse mix of complex commercial disputes, including:
Shareholder and corporate disputes
Class actions and regulatory investigations
Arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
Insolvency, restructuring and financial litigation
Technology, media, and competition-related disputes
Cross-border and international litigation
Risk and compliance advisory work
This is a role for a commercially minded and strategically focused lawyer who enjoys working closely with clients and is looking to deepen their expertise in large-scale litigation.
About You
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in dispute resolution or commercial litigation (flexible on level for strong candidates)
Exposure to complex or high-value disputes, ideally within a mid-tier, top-tier, or boutique litigation firm
ARITA Advanced Certification is desirable but not essential
Strong technical skills, including drafting and strategic analysis
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative and proactive approach to client service
