A leading national law firm is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Litigation & Corporate Recovery Lawyer with 3+ years post-admission experience to join their growing Disputes & Investigations practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer to broaden their skills across general litigation, banking litigation, insolvency, and secured recoveries, while working within a highly collaborative and supportive team.
Working closely with senior practitioners and an experienced team, this role offers the opportunity to manage your own matters with autonomy (under supervision) while developing strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.
You’ll be exposed to a broad range of matters, including secured recoveries, mortgage enforcement, banking disputes, and insolvency-related litigation. The role includes:
Advising on and managing secured recovery matters
Drafting a variety of legal documents including pleadings, letters of demand, settlement deeds, and breach notices
Preparing briefs to Counsel and participating in mediations
Appearing in Court and preparing submissions
Direct client relationship management and responsibility for your own files
To be successful in this role, you will have:
3+ years post-admission litigation experience, ideally with exposure to banking litigation, mortgage enforcement, or insolvency
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A collaborative mindset and the initiative to drive your own development
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities within a team environment
