Litigation Lawyer (2–4 Years PAE) | Commercial Disputes

An outstanding opportunity has become available for a talented litigation lawyer to join one of Melbourne's leading disputes practices. This role is ideal for a lawyer with 2–4 years' post-admission experience who is looking to work on high-quality, complex matters while developing their career within a collaborative and high-performing team.

You'll gain exposure to a diverse client base, including listed companies, SMEs, directors and officers, property groups, insolvency practitioners, financiers, government agencies, insurers and large private businesses. The team is recognised for handling sophisticated litigation and dispute resolution matters across a broad range of industries.


The Opportunity

Working alongside highly regarded litigation specialists, you will be involved in matters including:

  • Commercial and corporate disputes
  • Property and leasing disputes
  • Large family trust litigation
  • Regulatory investigations and civil penalty proceedings
  • Insolvency, restructuring and corporate recovery disputes
  • Shareholder oppression claims
  • Directors' duties and corporate governance matters
  • Insurance indemnity advice and disputes
  • White collar crime, fraud and anti-corruption matters
  • Government investigations, procurement disputes and public sector advisory work

This is an excellent opportunity to build your technical expertise while working directly with experienced practitioners on complex and high-profile matters.


About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • 2–4 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
  • Experience gained within a reputable commercial disputes practice
  • Broad exposure to commercial litigation, with additional experience in insolvency, regulatory, property or leasing disputes viewed favourably
  • Strong analytical, research and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with corporate, government and individual clients
  • A collaborative approach and genuine desire to contribute to a positive team culture
