An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate-level lawyer to join a well-established and growing Dispute Resolution practice in Melbourne. About the Role
This role will see you involved in a wide range of corporate insolvency and commercial dispute matters, including:
Voluntary administration, liquidation, receivership, and workout arrangements
Recovery actions under the Corporations Act
Acting for insolvency practitioners, directors, and financial institutions
Handling matters involving both corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy
Advising directors and creditors on obligations and entitlements
Working on complex and high-profile matters in a variety of sectors
You will be part of a nationally integrated team of over 100 professionals working across commercial litigation, financial services disputes, regulatory investigations, insolvency, property and construction disputes, and more.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
4–9 years of post-admission experience (Australia)
Strong background in commercial litigation with substantial insolvency experience
Previous experience in a mid or top-tier firm, or a reputable insolvency practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence managing matters end-to-end, including dispute resolution processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
