An elite corporate practice is looking to appoint a Senior Associate with strong M&A experience to join their high-performing Corporate Transactions team in Sydney. About the Role
You’ll work on high-profile, complex public and private M&A transactions, supporting a dynamic and commercially sharp partner group with deep client relationships and a commanding presence in the market. Recent deals have included multi-billion dollar acquisitions across banking, energy, infrastructure, and retail.
You’ll be involved in the full transaction lifecycle, including structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and execution of major domestic and cross-border deals, with direct access to clients, industry leaders and regulators.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years’ post-admission experience in corporate law, with significant exposure to M&A
Experience in both public and private M&A preferred
Strong technical expertise, drafting and negotiation skills
A proactive, confident and commercially driven approach
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A genuine interest in growing your profile and contributing to business development
