A rare and rewarding opportunity is available for a health lawyer to join a growing national team that is highly regarded in the health, insurance and regulatory space. You’ll work with a leading group of experts representing medical and allied health professionals on high-profile matters, including personal injury claims and regulatory proceedings.
About the Opportunity
This role offers a unique blend of professional indemnity litigation, administrative law and health regulation. You’ll act for individual practitioners in negligence claims, as well as in disciplinary proceedings, coronial inquests, commissions of inquiry and related investigations.
This is ideal for a lawyer with a background in PI or insurance law who is looking to diversify their experience and step into a specialist role with strong mentoring and growth potential.
The Ideal Candidate
2+ years’ post-admission experience in health law, professional indemnity, insurance litigation or related areas
Familiarity with the health regulatory landscape (AHPRA, HCCC, coronials etc.)
Strong drafting, advocacy and advisory skills
Excellent time management and a proactive, client-centric approach
A team player who values technical excellence and collegiality
