The team & practice

The Brisbane Construction & Infrastructure group comprises over 20 lawyers, including multiple highly experienced partners, and services a strong and consistent client base across major construction and infrastructure projects nationwide. The team advises government and commercial clients on both front-end and back-end construction matters and is known for its collaborative culture and technical excellence.


The opportunity

You will work closely with senior practitioners on complex, high-value matters, including:

  • Managing large-scale construction and infrastructure disputes

  • Leading adjudications, arbitrations, and civil litigation

  • Analysing and organising evidence with a forensic approach

  • Drafting detailed and strategic legal submissions

  • Providing commercially focused advice to clients

  • Building trusted client relationships and servicing ongoing workflows

  • Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers within the team


About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Approximately 5+ years’ post-admission experience

  • Strong background in commercial litigation, ideally with construction exposure

  • A genuine interest in construction and infrastructure law

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong drafting and analytical capabilities

  • Commercial acumen and sound judgment

  • Leadership skills and an interest in developing junior lawyers
