The Role

Driven by a consistent increase in instructions from some of Australia’s largest insurers, this brand-new position offers direct exposure to all stages of the litigation process. Working within a highly supportive environment, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking client instructions and providing initial strategic advices.

  • Drafting pleadings and legal documentation.

  • Liaising directly with corporate clients, major insurers, and opposing legal counsel.

  • Negotiating settlements and resolutions.

  • Appearing at Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and various court events.


About You

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented lawyer who is ready to take ownership of their day-to-day file management. To be successful, you will have:

  • Admission to practice as a Lawyer in Australia.

  • Up to 3 years’ PAE (prior experience in property damage claims is highly regarded).

  • Alternatively: Background in motor vehicle claims, or experience in other areas of insurance coupled with a genuine desire to specialize in property damage recoveries.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a client-first mindset.
