Confidential Opportunity – Native Title & Cultural Heritage Lawyer
Location: Brisbane | Seniority: 1–4 Years PAE

We’re seeking a dedicated lawyer to join a leading national team with a strong reputation in native title and cultural heritage law. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting Federal Court proceedings, including mediations and case management hearings

  • Advising on native title and cultural heritage compliance

  • Preparing due diligence assessments and legal advice for infrastructure and land dealings

  • Assisting in the negotiation and drafting of Indigenous Land Use Agreements and cultural heritage agreements

  • Working directly with clients and Traditional Owner groups in a respectful and culturally aware manner

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from lawyers with native title experience or a genuine interest in transitioning into this area. You’ll need:

  • 1–4 years post-admission experience

  • A foundational understanding of native title and cultural heritage legislation

  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively

  • Strong client communication and relationship-building skills

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple matters

  • Willingness to travel for meetings and on-country proceedings when required
