Paralegal | Litigation, Insolvency & Debt Recovery Location: Sydney
The Opportunity A rare opportunity to join a boutique start-up law firm at the ground level. You’ll be working directly alongside a highly respected Principal with a strong reputation in commercial litigation, debt recovery and insolvency. This is not your typical paralegal role — you’ll be given real, hands-on experience, exposure to clients and matters from day one, and the chance to help shape the growth of a firm with big ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and preparing court documents and correspondence.
Conducting legal research and assisting with case preparation.
Managing files, discovery and evidence collation.
Liaising with clients, barristers, courts and external stakeholders.
Assisting with hearings, mediations and settlements.
General support to the Principal across litigation and insolvency matters.
About You We are looking for someone with:
Previous paralegal experience (litigation/insolvency highly regarded) OR a motivated law student/graduate keen to get hands-on exposure.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
A proactive and hungry mindset — comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment.
A genuine interest in litigation and insolvency law.
