The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a lawyer with 1–4 years’ PAE to join a highly regarded Planning & Environment team. The practice is experiencing strong growth and offers exposure to both public and private sector clients on complex, high-profile matters, while maintaining a supportive and collaborative team culture.
The Role
You will work across a broad range of matters, including:
Land and Environment Court litigation
Advising on statutory interpretation, development contributions, contamination and environmental compliance issues
Drafting and negotiating planning agreements and works-in-kind agreements
Supporting major infrastructure and development projects with sophisticated legal advice
The team works with a mix of government agencies, developers, corporates and investors, giving you the opportunity to develop a well-rounded practice.
About You
We are looking for a lawyer who has:
1–4 years’ PAE in planning & environment law (experience in the Land and Environment Court is highly desirable, including graduate rotations)
Excellent research, drafting and written communication skills
A keen eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve complex legal issues
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn from senior lawyers in a busy practice
Strong teamwork and a collaborative approach
