Our Brisbane Planning & Environment team is part of a national practice advising across planning, environment, infrastructure, and cultural heritage. The group works with both private and public sector clients, including local, state, and federal government bodies. About the Role
We’re seeking a lawyer with 3–4 years’ post-admission experience in planning and environment law to join our Brisbane office. You’ll work across a broad mix of matters and gain exposure to both front-end advisory and back-end dispute work. You can expect to be involved in:
Development strategy and approvals
Infrastructure, environmental and cultural heritage matters
Statutory planning and advisory work
Planning and Environment Court matters
You’ll be supported by senior lawyers with outstanding reputations in the market and have access to excellent mentoring and professional growth opportunities.
About You
You’re a driven and enthusiastic lawyer who is passionate about planning and environment law and wants to be part of a team striving to be the pre-eminent practice in Queensland. You will have:
3–4 years’ PAE gained in a well-regarded planning and environment team (private or public sector)
Exposure to planning and/or environmental matters (Court experience is an advantage, but an interest in developing this skill is essential)
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
A proactive, collaborative mindset and a commitment to excellence
