About the Team
Our national Insurance & Health practice brings together deep industry expertise and local insight to deliver outstanding client service. With a team of more than 200 specialist lawyers, we support clients across Australia and internationally in navigating complex risk environments and defending high-stakes claims.


About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Solicitor or Associate (2–4 years PAE) to join a leading insurance team in Melbourne.

You will work across financial lines and health matters, defending claims brought against directors, officers, companies and professionals across industries including legal, financial services, construction and property. The role also offers exposure to acting for hospitals, clinics and healthcare providers in disciplinary proceedings, litigation and coronial inquests.

This is a hands-on role offering meaningful responsibility, strong mentoring, and genuine career progression within a high-performing, supportive team.


About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 2–4 years’ PAE in defendant insurance or commercial litigation

  • Can confidently manage their own file load

  • Enjoys building client relationships and delivering strong outcomes

  • Is solutions-focused, collaborative and values strong working relationships
