The Opportunity
A highly regarded national practice is seeking a talented lawyer (5+ PAE) to join its Professional Indemnity team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex matters for a diverse client base, in a supportive environment that values excellence, collaboration, and balance.
The Role
You will:
Provide clients with clear, commercially focused legal advice on professional indemnity matters
Manage and run files autonomously, including large and complex disputes
Review case law and legislative developments to keep advice current and accurate
Draft pleadings, correspondence, and legal opinions to a high standard
Mentor and support junior team members
Engage in client relationship management and contribute to business development initiatives
Balance a busy caseload while maintaining high-quality client service and responsiveness
About You
5+ years’ post-qualification experience, with a strong background in professional indemnity litigation
Proven ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a cohesive team
Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Confidence in managing high volumes of documents and complex issues
Strong communication skills with a plain-language style and client-first mindset
Commercially astute, with the ability to deliver practical solutions and manage client expectations
Interest in contributing to business development and fostering long-term client relationships
