An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced insurance litigator to join a highly regarded national practice in Melbourne at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level.

The Opportunity

You will work across a broad mix of complex and high-value matters in the financial lines and health space, including:

  • Defending claims against directors, officers, companies and professionals

  • Professional indemnity matters (legal, financial services, construction and property sectors)

  • Acting for hospitals, clinics, medical practitioners and healthcare providers

  • Disciplinary proceedings, litigation and coronial inquests


You’ll join a well-established team of specialist practitioners with strong mentoring support and clear pathways for progression. The practice offers sophisticated work, high levels of client interaction, and the autonomy expected at this level.


About You

We are seeking a practitioner who:

  • Has solid experience in defendant insurance litigation, ideally with a focus on professional indemnity

  • Enjoys building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Is commercially minded and outcome-focused
