The Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate (3+ PQE) to join a market-leading Projects, Energy & Infrastructure (PEI) team in Brisbane. This high-growth practice advises across the full project lifecycle, acting on some of the most complex and high-profile energy, resources, and infrastructure matters in Australia.

Working alongside some of the most recognised practitioners in the market, you will gain unparalleled exposure to landmark projects spanning transport, renewables, oil & gas, LNG, water, health, education, and telecommunications. This is a chance to play a key role in transactions that shape Australia’s infrastructure and energy future.

The Role
You will:

  • Advise leading public and private sector clients on major infrastructure and energy projects, asset transactions, and procurement strategies

  • Support clients on M&A, joint ventures, project development, LNG and gas sales, and new energy projects

  • Draft and negotiate complex project documentation, including collaborative and innovative contracting models

  • Act on significant government infrastructure transactions and strategic advisory mandates

  • Collaborate with a highly regarded team of partners and senior lawyers across multiple sectors

About You
We are seeking talented lawyers who offer:

  • At least 3 years’ PQE in projects, energy, infrastructure, or front-end construction (private practice or in-house)

  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery, procurement, or asset transactions and investments

  • A strong academic record and excellent drafting skills

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work under pressure on complex matters

  • A genuine passion for energy transition, infrastructure development, and market-shaping projects
