Property Associate / Senior Associate (4+ PQE)

A highly regarded boutique law firm based in Sydney’s south-west is seeking an experienced Property Associate or Senior Associate to join its well-established and growing Commercial Real Estate & Property Practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality property matters under the guidance of a respected senior practitioner.
About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with a senior leader in the firm to provide legal support across a diverse client base, including developers, private investors, SMEs, and institutions. The role encompasses a variety of complex and high-value commercial real estate transactions.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Advising on commercial, industrial, and retail property transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts for sale, leases, development and option agreements
  • Conducting due diligence and resolving title, planning, and zoning issues
  • Liaising directly with clients and other stakeholders with professionalism and care
  • Managing a file load autonomously while contributing to a collegiate team environment
About You
You are a commercially savvy and detail-oriented property lawyer with:
  • At least 4 years' post-admission experience in property law
  • Strong experience in commercial real estate transactions and leasing
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and provide strategic advice
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality outcomes
