A leading national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Property team in Melbourne. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of property matters, including commercial, industrial, retail, and residential transactions, acquisitions, bulk developments, and leasing matters.
Advise clients on complex property transactions and developments.
Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of commercial and residential property agreements.
Manage and oversee property acquisitions, disposals, and leasing arrangements.
Collaborate with clients across various sectors, including residential developers, institutional REITs, national tenants, and developers of renewable energy projects.
Provide strategic legal counsel on property law issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in property law.
Strong transactional and commercial leasing experience (office, industrial, and retail), acting for both landlords and tenants.
Proven experience in property development and commercial transactions.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex matters and work autonomously.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for mentoring junior lawyers.
