The Opportunity
We’re seeking a motivated Property Lawyer (1–3 PQE) to join a highly regarded national team. Based in Canberra, this role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial property matters, with a strong focus on landlord-side leasing and property sale and acquisition transactions. You’ll be supported by experienced senior lawyers and partners while working with a diverse client base across institutional, corporate, and private sectors.
About the Role
You’ll gain hands-on experience across:
Leasing (with a landlord-side focus)
Sale and acquisition transactions
Advising institutional and corporate clients on commercial property matters
Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases and related documentation
Supporting high-value and complex property transactions
About You
We are looking for someone with:
1–3 years’ PQE in property law (with exposure to leasing and transactional work highly regarded)
Strong drafting and attention to detail
Excellent communication and client service skills
The ability to manage competing deadlines
A proactive, team-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn
