About the Team

Our Disputes practice includes a specialist Property Disputes team acting for an impressive client base of publicly listed and multinational organisations. Clients include shopping centre owners and landlords, property funds and developers. The team is well regarded for its expertise in complex, high-value property and leasing disputes.


About the Role

An opportunity exists for a lawyer with around 3 years post-admission experience who is keen to build a long-term career in property disputes.

You will work on a diverse range of complex and often multifaceted matters, with a strong focus on property and leasing disputes. This is a busy, fast-paced practice, well suited to someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and client interaction, and who can confidently manage multiple matters at once.


About You

You will have developed a strong foundation in a well-regarded disputes practice, where you have honed your drafting, research and advocacy skills. You value excellent client service and enjoy working in a collaborative, high-performing team environment.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience across a range of disputes, ideally including property disputes

  • Court appearance experience

  • Significant experience drafting pleadings and evidence

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A collaborative mindset, including a willingness to mentor junior lawyers

  • Confidence working closely with clients and managing disputes

  • The ability to manage multiple matters and prioritise effectively

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • A self-driven approach with the ability to meet deadlines
