An award-winning, independent Australian law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate (3+ years PQE) to join its highly regarded Melbourne-based team. The opportunity
You will join a Commercial / Real Estate team with a proven track record advising on significant property transactions across the Australian market, including retail shopping centres, commercial office assets, and industrial sites. The team advises clients across the full property lifecycle, from acquisition and due diligence through to development, leasing, and asset management.
With support from experienced and approachable Partners and senior lawyers, you will work both independently and collaboratively, with direct client contact and exposure to a broad range of general property matters.
About you
• 3+ years post-admission experience in property / real estate law
• Demonstrated experience working on commercial property matters
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• A proactive, curious mindset and genuine willingness to learn
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Collaborative working style with a solutions-focused approach
