Restructuring Senior Associate 5+ PQE

The Opportunity

A top-tier restructuring and insolvency team—consistently recognised by leading legal directories—offers a rare opportunity to join one of the most dynamic practices in the market. Operating at the forefront of corporate restructuring, the team advises on a wide spectrum of complex matters, from distressed investments and corporate turnarounds to large-scale insolvency and litigation matters.

Due to continued growth, the practice is seeking a Senior Associate with strong front-end advisory and/or contentious experience. This role suits a collaborative and commercially minded lawyer with robust technical capabilities and an interest in working across high-profile, often cross-border matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing transactional and restructuring documentation.

  • Leading negotiations with stakeholders across complex and time-sensitive matters.

  • Advising clients across a range of industries on restructuring strategies and legal risk.

  • Managing contentious insolvency claims, where applicable.

  • Building trusted client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

About You:

  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in restructuring and insolvency (advisory and/or contentious).

  • Experience in drafting legal documents and managing complex transactions or disputes.

  • A commercial, pragmatic approach to legal problem solving.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • A team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively under pressure.
