This is a leadership mandate, not just a senior role. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the firm's commercial litigation practice, leading complex matters, building your client base, and mentoring junior talent, within the established infrastructure of a reputable B2B firm.
You'll inherit an existing client book and cross-referral network, with full autonomy to shape the practice's strategic direction. For the right person, there is a clear and accelerated pathway to Principal or Equity Partner.

What's Involved:
– Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution
– Drive business development, build your client base, referral network, and practice pipeline
– Collaborate with the Corporate Advisory and Commercial teams on cross-practice mandates
– Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, building the next generation of litigators
– Contribute to the firm's thought leadership through articles, presentations, and seminars
– Oversee practice management and achieve individual and team financial targets
About You
– 5+ years post-admission experience in commercial litigation
– Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and lead a team
– Strong advocacy, negotiation skills, and a track record of successful client outcomes
– Commercial acumen, you see beyond the legal issue to the business opportunity
– A track record or clear aptitude for business development and revenue generation
