With continued growth of their personal injury practice area, the team are seeking to recruit a legal secretary/paralegal with a “can do” attitude. Someone willing to roll up their sleeves and be a true right hand to the firm leader. If you have experience within Personal Injury – Plaintiff matters with experience in MVA or Workers Compensation we would like to hear from you. This role is open from intermediate through to senior level as the successful candidate will be selected on experience as well as attitude, technical abilities and approach. This role is quite hands-on and therefore would suit someone who enjoys this aspect of their role. Duties include (though not limited to):
* Extensive client and third party (including Barristers) liaison
* File management
* Drafting documentation and correspondence
* Diary management and scheduling appointments
* Travel co-ordination
* Telephone attendance
* Handling enquiries
* General administration as required
As mentioned above, to be considered for this opportunity, you must possess previous experience in Personal Injury – Plaintiff matters, ideally with MVA and or Workers Compensation exposure. A strong, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, fast and accurate typing (min 65 wpms), excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and a “can do” attitude.
