I’m working with a leading national law firm that continues to grow its Brisbane insurance practice and is looking to appoint an Associate with strong statutory classes experience.

The role
• Defendant-only statutory insurance matters
• Workers’ compensation and self-insurance claims
• Policy interpretation and accident compensation
• Occupiers’ liability, compulsory third-party (CTP) and public liability claims
• Direct client engagement with insurer and government clients
About you
• 3+ years PAE
• Queensland-based statutory insurance experience is essential
• Defendant-only background required
• Strong experience in workers’ compensation and personal injury insurance
• Ability to draft clear, concise and commercially focused advice
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career in insurance law
