The Australian Financial Markets team is a "Firm to Watch" (Legal 500, 2026), having seen explosive growth and rapidly securing a seat at the table for Australia’s most high-profile financing deals.
This is a strategic hire for a Mid to Senior Lawyer to join the Sydney-based Financial Markets practice. While your primary focus will be supporting a market-leading Partner in securitisation and structured finance, the firm’s collaborative structure allows you to gain diverse exposure across:
Leveraged Finance & Private Credit
Funds Finance & Corporate Finance
Debt & Equity Distressed Financings
Real Estate & Project Finance
You will act for leading global financial institutions and domestic investors on high-value transactions that define the market.
Renowned Remuneration: You will be paid on a US-style salary scale, providing a significantly higher base than typical Australian mid-tier or top-tier firms (note: no additional bonuses).
Global Integration: Work as part of a truly global team, not just a local satellite office.
Balanced High Performance: Typical hours are 8:30 am – 6:00 pm with a manageable 7-hour daily billable target.
Flexibility: 1 day per week WFH (following probation).
