About this Role
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated solicitor to join a leading Transport Law team in Melbourne. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of aviation, maritime, and other transport-related matters, working with a broad client base including domestic and international airlines, shipping companies, marine insurers, and other transport-related businesses.
Advise and act on behalf of clients in relation to third-party claims, including personal injury, property damage, and other civil claims.
Manage major incidents and emergency response situations, providing timely and effective legal support.
Provide insurance advice and assist with other aspects of clients' businesses within the transport sector.
Collaborate with a specialised, close-knit national team, gaining exposure to a variety of transport-related legal matters.
At least 3 years' post-admission experience in transport law, insurance litigation, aviation, marine, personal injury litigation, or other civil litigation.
Strong practice management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously as required.
A keen desire to learn and develop technical skills in this varied and challenging area of law.
