About the Role & Team
This opportunity sits within a high-performing Workers Compensation team that handles a wide range of workplace injury claims, including:
Orthopaedic and neurological injuries
Catastrophic and multi-trauma cases
Psychological injury and stress-related claims
Hazardous substance exposure
The team works closely with scheme agents, treasury managed fund agents, self-insurers and specialised insurers, offering strategic advice across liability, quantum and litigation.

What You Bring
We are seeking a driven and technically strong lawyer with experience in Workers Compensation or personal injury litigation. You will ideally possess:
Respondent or defendant-side experience within a fast-paced legal environment
Strong litigation and legal research skills
Experience advising on liability and litigation strategy
A sound understanding of relevant legislation and recent reforms
Familiarity with recoveries processes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team environment
