An excellent opportunity is available for a Lawyer with 2+ years' post-admission experience to join a highly regarded defendant insurance practice. This role offers exposure to a broad range of workers compensation matters within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced practitioners, you will be involved in all aspects of defendant workers compensation litigation, including:

• Dust disease matters
• Workers compensation claims
• Statutory disputes
• Work injury damages claims
• Client advisory and dispute resolution work

About the Team

You will join a well-established and respected insurance practice that acts for a strong portfolio of insurer, employer, and government clients across a broad range of workers compensation matters. About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 2+ years' PQE in workers compensation, insurance litigation, or a related practice area
• Experience gained with an insurer, defendant law firm, or plaintiff practice
• Exposure to workers compensation matters, including statutory disputes and work injury damages claims
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A commercial approach and genuine interest in understanding clients' businesses and objectives
